SessionSnap turns a screenshot of your workout into a share card. It is designed to hold as little of your information as possible.

What SessionSnap does with your screenshot

When you upload a workout screenshot, SessionSnap downscales it on your device and sends it once to our server so an automated model can read the workout statistics (distance, time, pace, heart rate and similar). The screenshot is held in memory only for the duration of that request and is not saved on our servers. We do not build a library of your images.

What stays on your device

Your confirmed workout statistics, preferences (units, max heart rate, name, default template) and any activity photo you add are stored only in the app on your device. They are not sent to us. Uninstalling the app, or using “Start over”, removes them.

What we don't collect

• No account, login, email address or password is required.
• No location data. Your route map and start location never appear on a card.
• No advertising identifiers, no analytics SDKs, no tracking across apps.

Third parties

Screenshot reading uses Anthropic's Claude API. The image and the extracted statistics are processed under Anthropic's commercial API terms, which do not permit use of API data for model training. Our server runs on Netlify. Standard web server logs (IP address, request time, response status) are retained briefly for security and rate limiting.

Your name

If you choose to enter your name and switch on “Print my name on cards”, it appears on the cards you export. It is stored on your device only.

Children

SessionSnap is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
